I'm HERE!! Is anyone else??

Hello blogging world...It's Tennille...and yes, I am embarrassed to say that my husband blogs more than I do. I have failed at a very important duty...but I hope some of you are still around to read our posts. I can't really backtrack an entire year, but I'll give you all a synopsis of what is going on in our world currently.

1) HOCKEY-- If you ever come to our house and wonder, "What is that smell?" Your nose will be lead to Cody's hockey pads drying out in the garage. Yes, the smell is horrific in case you are wondering. However, hockey is what is keeping Cody sane right now! He plays about once a week with a few of his friends and he absolutely loves it. I love watching HIM play, but I can't say that I really LOVE to sit in a freezing room for 2 hours watching hockey. I am definitely glad that he is having so much fun, though.

Here is proof that I attend (most) of his games...my dad absolutely loves coming too.

2) My LIFE in a nutshell- Right now I work for Landmark Companies (as an Office Administrator), Dance Illusion (dance teacher), and my business "A Lotta Pilates" is still going strong. Even though some of my days are super crazy, I wouldn't trade a second for the life I have. I have realized that I am truly happy when I am busy. I love teaching dance and I especially love the zumba and pilates classes that I have created over the past year and a half. Owning your own business is hard, but has been the MOST rewarding thing I have ever done. I recently hosted a charity event called "Party In Pink". All of the proceeds went toward the Susan G. Komen foundation. It was a success and so much fun! We raised a good chunk of money. I was pleasantly surprised at how generous people are. Not only did people come and support the cause, but many businesses participated by donating a product or service to be raffled off. Here are some pictures from the event!!

All dressed in our PINK dancing to Thriller....can you tell? Becky Kimball, one of my favorite students taught this number.

Some of my favorite people! Becky, Kim, and my momMy aunt Margene joined in on the fun. She owns a bra business...so what better way to promote breast cancer awareness! You can see some of the prizes that were raffled off right behind her.

3) Dental School- So far Cody has interviewed at a couple schools and has a few more this month and next. Wish him luck!! He is doing great so far. Right now, our favorite is UCONN...let's hope for an invite.
