For everyone that didn't believe me that I'd go through with this dental school thing (my wife included) here is proof that it WILL happen.
This entire summer has consisted of studying, studying, and more studying. I had a class for the 1st 6 weeks of the summer then the next 5 weeks I was studying for the DAT (Dental Admissions Test, the dental equivalent of the MCAT). My schedule consisted of going to the library at 9 AM and studying until 5 PM Monday thru Friday, Saturday I'd take a practice test, then I'd take Sunday off. Needless to say I didn't have much of a life. I finally took my Test last Monday, so let the summer begin.
Directly after the test Monday, Tennille and I headed down to Las Vegas for the week. It was HOT but thats ok, I didn't have to study. I don't think I've ever seen Tennille so lazy, it was great! Tennille has been working her butt off this summer to support my DAT studying so this was a well deserved break for her.
Anyway, my dental applications are now complete, so everyone keep your fingers crossed that I get a lot of interviews!
